Attention All PTSA Volunteers
Please remember to send your volunteers hours to our Historian, Ginger Kawanami. We keep close track of the hours our volunteers spend helping our school, which are an important factor in many of our grant applications. Send a quick email with the dates and number of your hours you have spent on PTSA activities to ggkawanami@gmail.com.

We Need You!
At our PTSA meeting last month, Principal Roach presented a 'Wish List' for the 2014-2015 school year from NHS teachers and staff. At this season of thanksgiving, please consider a contribution to our PTSA to help provide, among other needs, spectrophotometers for our science department, calculators for the math department and document cameras for social studies. Your PTSA membership and/or contribution will make a difference. Our PTSA Membership Form can be downloaded here. Thank you for your support.

15th Annual NHS Baseball Christmas Tree, Wreath and Garland Sales
With the Holidays right around the corner, the NHS Boys Baseball team is once again sponsoring its Christmas tree sales fundraiser. The trees - Noble Firs and Douglas Firs - are typically sourced from the Pacific Northwest and are cut two days before shipping. In addition, we are selling fresh and fragrant wreaths and garlands to help round-out your holiday home decorating.

We are also conducting a Christmas Tree drive to help out military families at Camp Pendleton who cannot afford to buy a tree this holiday season. If you wish to help us out with our Christmas Tree drive and support our military families, you can purchase a tree to be donated.

Purchases will be available for pick-up on Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Northwood High School (just follow the signs at the entrance to the high school). So please don't wait! Sale ends this Thursday, November 6. Contact Lori David Jones at ldjorange@aol.com to request a sales form and for any questions you may have. Thank you for your support of NHS Baseball.
