The Northwood High School Athletic Booster Club will be holding the 7th annual Timberwolf 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, February 13th at NHS at 8:00 AM sharp. This is the major fundraiser for our Northwood athletic program. The Timberwolf 5K Run/Walk will be a fun day for everyone, including serious and casual runners and walkers. We are hoping to see 100% participation among our athletes; in fact we'd really like to see our whole student body along with our staff out there. on Student Stress and Mental Health Services
Please join us at the February 16th PTSA Meeting at 7:00 PM when Katie Keck, NHS Wellness Counselor, and Melissa
DiScala, IUSD Mental Health and Crisis Intervention Coordinator, will discuss the mental health
services available at NHS and at the District. A short video prepared by
NHS Psychology students will be shown, showcasing students’ ideas about
how to better support students’ stress at the school.
