How Your PTSA Membership Benefits Northwood

Your PTSA membership is a very valuable contribution in helping our Northwood students. As Mrs. Roach in her email mentioned:
Due to memberships and generous donations in previous years, the PTSA was able to support the school by purchasing:
· A Chromebook cart filled with 35 chrome books
· Portable Speakers
· 34 calculators
· RACC dinner for College representatives
· Gift cards for college reps and speakers
PTSA has been providing funds every year to support
· Full-time Health Clerk
· Reflections
· Creative arts program
· Speakers for parents and students
· Advocacy programs to Sacramento to meet government officials
· All the necessary emergency supplies to maintain the NHS staff and student body for an extended amount of time during a disaster.
PTSA also,
· Runs the Student Store at lunch each day offering spirit wear, school supplies and healthy snacks
· Supports our Kick-off Day process
· Provides Staff Appreciation lunches
· Creates a fun and safe Grad Night party for our graduates each year
We would like to invite all members of the NHS family to Join PTSA to have a larger impact in our children's education at Northwood High School. Membership is $25 for first member and $5 for additional members. Being a member gives you access to free school directory that is available in October.
