“PACK THE SHELVES” Book Donation Drive

This year, NHS PTSA is working with the new library/media center staff, Peter Fatzaun and Suzette Furumoto, to build up the library collection in our Library and Media Center. Their vision is to turn the space into an inspirational, safe space for all of our NHS students, stocked with a wide range of engaging books for all abilities and interests.  This book drive will go towards updating and expanding the NHS Library Collection.

The average age of the current book collection at NHS is 27 years old. We have the fewest number of books available and in circulation when compared to other high schools in Irvine. We are passionate about the importance of reading and believe that a strong book collection has a positive impact on students and their achievements.

We need your support to make this “Pack the Shelves, Timberwolves” book drive a success!  You can add to the Northwood Library’s collection by purchasing a book (or two!) from the customized list selected by NHS library staff.  You can also choose to donate a set dollar amount donation which will be used to purchase monthly new releases, award winning titles and classics.  All books are library bound, guaranteed and shelf-ready to last years for our students.  100% of the donations will go towards purchasing high quality books for Northwood.

Please visit the website and help PACK THE SHELVES at Northwood High’s library by donating to the BookDrive here.
