NHS Timberwolf 5k Update

Come Run with the Pack in Northwood's
Timberwolf 5k Run/Walk this Saturday, February 14
The Northwood High School Athletic Booster Club will be holding the 6th annual Timberwolf 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, February 14th at NHS at 8:00 a.m. sharp. This is the major fundraiser for our Northwood athletic program and for the 4th year in a row, a portion of all funds raised will be donated to Families Forward. We hope you will join PTSA in supporting this important NHS event. Please go to www.timberwolf5k.com for more information and to register for the event.

Timberwolf 5k Event Details
Thanks so much for your support of the 6th annual Northwood High School 5k!  Here are the final logistics for you!

  1. Registration packets can be picked up Friday, February 13 after school, in front of the gym. Can't make it, arrange for a friend to pick it you for you.
  2. If we miss you after school, you can also pick up registration packets at Sports Authority from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 13.
  3. Why not make it a 5k+ and walk or ride your bike to the race?
  4. Parking will be limited. If you want to park on NHS grounds, plan to be at school before 7:30 a.m. The Yale/Portola gate will close at 7:30 a.m. or when the NHS lots are full, whichever is earlier.
  5. Overflow parking (mandatory at 7:30 a.m. and later) is at Canyon View Elementary and the Chinese Baptist Church on Arborwood and Yale, one block south of the main entrance.
  6. Run with your Timberwolves friends. Make a plan now where you will meet on Saturday morning.
  7. Don't miss the National Anthem, sung by our own Zack Halop, at 7:50 a.m.
  8. We will have food for purchase Saturday morning.  Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit sandwiches for $3!  Ritas frozen custard for sale too!  Bring your money!  Take a photo with the Chick-fil-A cow!  Head to Chick-fil-A at Jamboree and Bryan and support NHS Athletics - your t-shirt or flyer means Chick-fil-A will donate 20% of the revenue to NHS Athletics.
  9. Your race bib dropped off in the gym automatically enters you into the raffle! Don't miss the great gifts our Northwood area businesses have donated.
  10. Stop by Chick-fil-A at Irvine Marketplace (Jamboree and Bryan) on Saturday, February 14.  Present the PDF flyer from this email and Northwood High School will earn 20% of the proceeds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thanks!!
