We hope all students and teachers had a great start last week! NHS is an award-winning school thanks to the support of parent volunteers, PTSA memberships and donations that directly benefit NHS students! Last year PTSA funded:

• 10 lunch tables  
•  MP3 players and headphones for World Languages
• Webcams for English 
• Video camera and lens for Visual and Performing Arts
• Software for Computer Graphics
• Supplemental funding to maintain a full-time health clerk
• Healthy lunchtime snacks 
• Health and safety programs
• And much more!!

The Student Store has Moved!
The student store is now located in Room 908/909, which is across the Oak Tree from the old location. We will be open on the first day of school. Please note that due to new federal nutrition requirements, the store is no longer permitted to sell bagels. We are searching for alternatives!

WELCOME TO NHS REGISTRATION WEEK!

Seniors: Monday, 8/17, 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. 
Juniors: Tuesday, 8/18, 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. 
Sophomores: Wednesday, 8/19, 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. 
Freshmen: Thursday, 8/20, 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. 
Make-up Day: Friday, 8/21, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. 

Remember to bring your Ticket to Registration and Health Condition Information Form. Students will have their photo ID picture taken and receive their schedule and books; bring a bag to carry them.

PTSA and Athletic, Instrumental and Choral Boosters will have representatives to answer any questions you may have. Forms for membership and volunteer opportunities will be available at each table.

At the end of the registration process, you will be able to purchase NHS Spiritwear, and for your convenience, Barnes and Noble will be selling all the books needed for NHS English courses.
