Irvine HS Career Night


Irvine High School is extending the invitation of their career nights to NHS families. The career night events are held between 5:30-6:30 pm in Irvine high school LIFE CENTER - Students and Parents are invited!  Guest speakers will share about current opportunities, pathway to various careers and will also discuss their personal journeys regarding schooling, work, and what it takes. Timberwolf 3rd Annual Golf Classic

Northwood High School Athletics Boosters hosts its 3rd annual Timberwolf Classic Golf Tournament on May 16 at one of Orange County’s premier golf courses – Oak Creek Golf Club. The tournament, hosted by the football team, includes golf, dinner, silent auction and helicopter ball drop.


All proceeds support Northwood High School’s 25 sports programs and more than 800 student athletes. Sponsorship and Helicopter Ball Drop donations can be directed to the sport of your choice (including Marching Band and Pep Squad) when you register.

If you can’t make it out for golf, register for dinner to participate in the silent auction and helicopter ball drop for a chance at exciting prizes. There will also be a fabulous cocktail party and live entertainment! Come out for some fun, great prizes and good company while supporting Northwood's Athletic Teams!

Come and ask the professionals in the field all about their careers. What are the necessary qualifications? What is the expected salary and growth options? What are positives & negatives of the ​profession​? What should you do to prepare for this career?

Dr. Pham is a Physician with an undergraduate from USC (major in Biomedical Engineering: summa cum laude 1985-1989).  She then went to USC for Medical school from 1989-1993
followed by her Residency in Internal Medicine at UCI from 1993-1996.  Currently she is a hospitalist/critical care/internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente (1996-present)

NAMI mental health presentation at Woodbridge High on Mon. 3/19-Everyone is invited!


The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) program helps to better understand the signs and symptoms of emotional and behavioral difficulties that may be early warning signs of mental health issues in children and adolescents. It presents the perspective of mental health issues from a youth’s point of view and discusses how to best address mental health related concerns. Please feel free to join the presentation at Woodbridge High School on Monday 3/19 @ 6:30 in WHS Theater. Open to parents and students, flyer attached.

Meeting Dates - Parents interested in serving on the Grad Night committee or learning more about it may attend meetings.  Meetings are mostly Senior parents but all grade levels are welcome.  All meetings are at 7:00 pm in Room 906 at NHS:  April 18, May 2, and May 30.  If you would like to volunteer for the event only it is not necessary to attend any meetings, but please email per above.
