Northwood Named 2015 California Gold Ribbon School! 
Northwood High School was recognized as one of the top high schools in the state under the new California Gold Ribbon program. California State Superintendent Tom Torlakson described the winners as "embracing rigorous academic standards, providing excellence and creativity in teaching, and creating a positive school climate." Congratulations Northwood students and faculty!

Senior Parents - Grad Night Volunteers Needed 
Volunteers are still needed at the party venue (the best volunteer job of the year, and the kids don't even notice you are there because they are so busy having fun!). Volunteer shifts begin Wednesday night June 17th and go till Thursday morning June 18th (from 10:30 pm-1:30 am and from 1:00 am-4:00 am). You will receive private information the night before the event with secret location and other details.

Grad Night Tickets - Price goes up May 22
If your Senior has not yet purchased a Grad Night ticket, please do so now as the price goes up on May 22!  Almost the entire Senior Class is attending, and we do not want anyone to miss out. All student information and all parent and student signatures must be completed, along with allergies noted or if no allergies you must write NONE.

Northwood's Jazz at the Oak Annual Outdoor Concert this Friday, May 15
Jazz at the Oak is a free outdoor concert and fundraiser which features the Sierra Vista Jazz Band and Northwood's Award Winning Musicians! Come join us by the oak tree for an incredible night of jazz music from Northwood's three jazz bands and our new jazz choral group. You can also enjoy a great meal from one of the gourmet food trucks and join the fun by entering the raffle to win loads of fantastic prizes!
