Sacramento Trip on Education Issues
Juniors and Seniors: Each year the PTSA sponsors 5 students on a trip to Sacramento. The purpose of the trip is to meet with state lawmakers and staff to express public education concerns and ideas, hear from a variety of experts on state education policy, and network with IUSD students, administrators, and school board members. Students attending the trip will go through several information gathering meetings and will be expected to research on their own. This is an exciting opportunity!
